I love building relationships and helping patients understand their dental insurance. We have a wonderful team here, with each person committed to keeping our patients relaxed and comfortable during visits.
I’m a certified medical and dental insurance biller. Working with patients, I review their insurance coverage, handle paperwork and filing claims, and make sure everyone gets the most from their benefits! I also support our staff with clerical matters to ensure we’re keeping our patients happy.
My time off is spent with family and friends. My daughter is currently attending a Master’s program here in NY and I have a dog, Chance, and a cat, Frisky, who complete my family. I enjoy cooking, time at the beach, and dancing to my favorite music: Salsa!
I’ve always been told I’m a people person and building a friendly and professional rapport with patients is very important to me. I really enjoy making the patient's experience here as smooth as can be, explaining insurance coverage and making sure everyone feels as comfortable as possible.
I’m a proud graduate of John Bowne High School in Flushing, Queens and I earned my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts at CUNY Queensborough Community College in 2018. Currently, I’m working toward my Bachelor of Art Degree at Queens College.
When I’m not in the office I enjoy spending time with my nephews and going to the movies. I also make a habit of shopping and listening to loud music when I drive to destress. I have an old soul when it comes to music. 90’s old school Hip-Hop, Salsa and R&B are my favorites. My biggest hobby might be my huge sneaker collection!
Administrative Assistant + Marketing
While new to the world of dentistry, I bring to this wonderful team extensive experience in marketing and customer service - that includes my upbeat Australian attitude and two decades of working on both the client and customer sides of banking, fashion, retail, education and non-profit management.
I love meeting new people and enjoy welcoming patients with a smile. I understand that visiting the dentist can be a rewarding experience, and my goal is to enhance the journey. Our staff is part of Dr. Kiani's family, and I want each person who walks through the door to feel that way too.
At home, I am obsessed with my dogs, Snickers and Rolo, and spend most of my spare time working with the nonprofit organization I founded in 2011, Rock & Rawhide, helping shelter animals in the Tri-State area. When I'm not covered in dog hair, you can find me at the beach or at the gym.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I love being a dental hygienist mainly because of the satisfaction I get working with patients one-on-one, helping them improve their oral hygiene and enhancing the beauty of their smiles. Making a difference in patients’ lives by educating them about the importance of oral health is one of the major reasons I entered this profession.
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene (with honors) from New York University and went on to complete my Master of Science in Healthcare Management at Rutgers University.
When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my husband and family. Traveling, along with exploring different cultures and cuisines, has topped my list of hobbies in the past few years.
Registered Dental Hygienist
As a people person, I enjoy getting to know all of our patients. I love helping people, and as a hygienist I find it particularly gratifying to educate everyone on the importance of oral health.
As for college, I am a proud graduate of UCLA. I knew I wanted a career in dentistry, and after considering all the possibilities I chose dental hygiene. I love it!
Personally, I’m outgoing (if you haven’t guessed by now) and I enjoy a string of hobbies – swimming, singing karaoke and drawing. I’m also an animal lover, especially dogs.
I like meeting new people and learning about their lives and interests. We have the best patients, and each of them has stories I want to hear! Some patients worry about seeing the dentist: I promise them that Dr. Kiani is gentle and that patients will feel comfortable during their visits.
I prepare the operatories to make sure everything is ready. After I seat our patient, I explain what their visit will entail. Working chairside, I assist Dr. Kiani and, at the same time, I talk with our patient about what we’re doing and make sure that they’re still comfortable. When the procedure is finished, I offer home care instructions and answer questions.
When I’m not working, I’m usually with my family. My husband, daughter, son, and I love to travel and go to amusement parks. I like escaping into a good book and listening to classical music, too.
